BALOCCO, Italy — Chrysler Group may incorporate Fiat’s new MultiAir fuel-saving technology in some gasoline engines, Fiat sources say.
Fiat S.p.A. considers the variable valve timing system a breakthrough. The company says MultiAir improves power by about 10 percent and reduces fuel consumption 10 percent.

Ferrari-edition Fiat 500 Prototype Spied in the Wild

Supposedly Fiat is coming out with a Ferrari edition of the Abarth Fiat 500, with a 1.4L motor tuned to 180hp. It should be very quick and a blast to drive, but at 40k Euros is ridiculously overpriced. Very cool little car, though it wouldn’t sell here in SUV-land.
